Love Never Fails

After witnessing such a beautiful moment of love and kindness this weekend; instead of my originally planned post, I decided to share a poem I came across once not realizing at the time that it was inspired by 1CORITHIANS 13:4-8.

Love is patient and kind;

love is not jealous or boastful;

it is not arrogant or rude.

Love does not insist

on it’s own way

it is not irritable or resentful;

it does not rejoice at wrong;

but rejoices in the right.

Love bears all things,

believes all things,

hopes all things,

endures all things,

Love never fails…

    1. Although I’ve had a few poems published, I don’t consider myself to be a poet because I struggle to get them out like I’d want to. I usually post a poem last minute after time restraints during the week just to stay consistent w/ my Sunday post. Have you read my poems “5thgeneration girl” or “12 hour shift” on my blog? You may enjoy them as well. Thanks for visiting my friend!

      1. I agree with you QT πŸ’―. If someone doesn’t return such kindness, you never allow their ignorance to change who you are, and what you are made up of! πŸ€œπŸΌπŸ€›πŸΌ Hugs and smooches Queen! πŸ€—πŸ‘‘πŸ˜˜

  2. This is one of my favorites…read at my wedding decades ago. One might say that that particular love did fail, since the marriage ended in divorce. But it did not…it resulted in my son, and it taught me things that helped me grow. Yes indeed, Love Never Fails ❀

  3. Amen!

    If we would all live according to the two great commandments, to love God with everything and love our neighbor as ourselves, we would live in a much different and better world.

      2. Thanks, I appreciate it. Your post about Hawaii said comments were closed. I’m glad you found me because I’ve only been on a plane once, but now I want to go everywhere & just got my passport a few months ago. I’ll figure out the issue once I have some free time.
